    Portkeys

I was just wondering- in the books JK describes what taking a Portkey feels/ looks like for the person using it but does anyone have any idea what it would look like to someone watching someone else taking it?

I'd imagine they'd twist out of sight, disappearing completely somewhere around their navel. But does anyone have any other ideas/ is there an incident in canon I've forgotten?"

    Thank you!

It doesn't say anywhere in the books what it looks like, so I'm sure your way is fine.

Portkey's are described as glowing blue just before they teleport. Also, I imagine that if it looked like the travelling person twisted out of sight, they would be dragged by whatever appendage is holding onto the Portkey.
