Hey everyone! So I'm pretty sure when I convinced SiningWren to start a thread, I had to make one too...and she kind of mentioned it recently, so I'm starting a thread
I am AVAILABLE for banner requests with anywhere from one day to a weeks wait. I'm actually kind of pumped to have started this thread, not gonna lie.

Graphics program of choice: Gimp 2.6 (I think)
How long you have been designing: I did it for a few months, stopped, and just started up again.
Specialties: Umm? I personally like my text.
Favourite FanFic Category: Romance and Humour in the Trio era or Post-Hogwarts about the Trio, preferably when they are young (ie teens, very early 20s)
OTP: I don’t really have one. I like Hermione pairings.

So I was looking through Russia's banner thread (as I stalk everyone's banner threads often) and I came across a bunch of pictures that Becca had given her to play with. So I stole one (I'm sure I could have found it on google anyway! Hopefully Becca doesn't mind ) and came up with this:



I'm actually quite proud of this one.
Any advice, critiques?

Ooh, Miss Maple, I love that banner. The effect of the text outline around the girl is nifty. My only critique would be to play around with the layer effects of of the 'Who you are is not what you did' text, because it's really hard to read. It doesn't have to be opaque... just a little less invisible. Maybe a combination of soft light and overlay... just play around with it a bit and make it so one doesn't have to squash their face into the monitor to see what it says.

Overall, though, your banners are becoming more and more artistic, and you have a good eye for fun and inspiring pictures. That's something you can't be taught, I think.

oh wow! the moment I saw that you had a banner thread, a huge smile crept across my face. Then I saw your awesome banners and I started to giggle Ok here is my request...

If it's possible, I'd like an avvie. Id like one with Sirius on it (but a clean Sirius, don't really like my men rugged :P ) and could it say "Stop it now" in the top half and "I'm Sirius" in the bottom half, normal font will do. If you want to take on this wiity avvie, I'd be thrilled, but I understand if you're busy.

Hey Rose! For sure I will take this on, just give me a few days, mostly as I have some big events this weekend, but I'll be sure to have it done asap

I hope I don't sound like a picky muppet but I think I'd like a few things changed. By any chance would you be able to use a different Sirius? Something like in your previous post under 'Maple's avvies #2' However, I really love the font you used on the both of them, especially the second one Yeah maybe stick with the font of the second one but with a different Sirius if that's not too much of a hassle please.
