I have a question about the Archives. I'm trying to find Next-Gen stories, but when I click on 'Categories' to find a story by category, I get a blank page that says 'Categories' on the top, nothing more. Is there a glitch in the system?

This has happened to me too! I'm using the Hufflepuff layout.

I did notice that when I logged out I could see the categories, but I'd rather not have to log out every time I want to browse a category if it's possible.

If you're having problems, I would suggest switching to the Dragon layout, since this one is coded 100% to work correctly.

Not to be a bother or anything, but are the Featured Stories on the archives going to change anytime soon? I really like checking those out as a method of finding something I might not have read otherwise.

I don't seem to be getting any email notifications for subscribed threads or reviews. I'm set up to receive instant email notification, but nothing is coming through.

Hi there,

Not sure if you're aware but the time glitch is happening again. I just replied to a post of hestia jones' in the Reference desk and my post has gone in front.

My time zone setting, by the way, is GMT + 2 because that's the only way I can match up MNFF time with my actual time. Natalie should be 5 hours ahead of me, though, or three with my setting.

Regarding my notification problem. I'm not getting PM notifications either. They used to go directly to my junk mail, but they're not now.

I've got a question about the Archives. Why isn't there a remove favorite option for favorites? I think there's one for authors, but not for favorite stories. I've been wanting to remove some that I don't want cluttering my favorites, but I can't.

I can't guarantee this is going to work, but it's working for me, so I thought I'd give it a shot...


On the archives, go to your "manage favourites" page and then the favourite stories. Then change your skin to for example one of the Founderof... styles. Now, I have an option beneath each story that says "Remove Favourite". I click that, and the story is instantly removed from my list. I can't find that option in the standard "dragon" skin either, but it's there in the others.
