    Angsty Sirius-centric fic

    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a good dark/angsty Sirius-centric fic -- either a one-shot or a chaptered story is fine. I'm in one of my Marauder withdrawal phases, and I'm missing Sirius a bunch. Any recommendations you may have will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

On of the best stories on this site is

    Edges by Dragon Di

Peter Pettigrew is dead by his own silver hand. Remus Lupin shares the news with Sirius Black and the Potters and ponders how he feels about it. (Warning: Adult wizards will swear--especially if one has been in prison...)
It's Remus centric but the dynamic with Sirius is truly brilliant.

Wings of the Morning is a fantastic author of many other dark/angsty Marauder-era character pieces, such as Regulus, Peter Pettigrew, and Andromeda. She has a couple Sirius-centric pieces as well, such as "To Burn" and "Dirty Magic."

    To Burn:
Sirius's descent into madness, in thirteen steps.
Rated Professors. Written by Wings of the Morning.

    Dirty Magic:
He's got a horrible, deep, sinking feeling that he's just like the rest of his family. They're all a bit insane, and he feels insane right about now, absolutely bloody wild, like he's let some caged beast out, and it scares him.
    Rated 6th/7th Years.
Written by Wings of the Morning. (This is a personal favorite of mine.)

    Long Road to Nowhere:
"Peter probably hates you, you know." A look at Sirius' life from the age of thirteen to his death, focussing on his relationships with the Marauders, especially Peter.
Rated 3rd/5th years. Written by Inclination.

And this one isn't from Sirius's POV, however it involves his ideas. Decretum:
Narcissa reflects on the rules that she's spent her life adhering to, and the idea that maybe Sirius was right after all.
Rated 3rd/5th years, I think. Written by Wings of the Morning.

    Hope you enjoy them!
