For the September monthly, does the student have to be named? Could I just write it from the perspective of an unidentified, random student?

Sorry Sarah, I want a canon character, so yes, I need the name.

For the September monthly, does it carry the same standard word limit of 500, or does it follow the pattern of other monthlies with a 750-800 limit?

We're feeling generous, so we'll allow your drabbles to be 300-700 words.

I'm dreaming the hardest.
Thank you Nadia/majestic_ginny! <3
Being FEARLESS isn't about not having fears, it's about living in spite of them.
Adding onto Ariana's question... Gryffindor is a very vague prompt. Don't get me wrong--vague prompts are my absolute favorite!Just want to make sure it really is as vague as it seems... is the sky the limit? Just mention Gryffindor? Should that be the setting? The house of the characters? What do you have in mind, or is it really that free of a prompt?
Thanks!
(Oh, and Carole, now I want to drag up your first points-earning drabble!)
For the Gryffindor Weekly, is writing about the House and writing about the pictures two separate prompts, or are they both requirements for a single drabble? For example, could I write about Gryffindor and not have one of the pictures as part of my story, or would that be illegal?![]()

How soon will the poll be up for the August monthly and we can reveal who wrote what?
I'm debating reusing a character for the weekly. But then it would give away what I wrote for August...
It is that vague. There has to be a mention of something Gryff-ish, but it is deliberately vagueOriginally Posted by Lori
No, you must use the Gryff prompt and one of the pictures as your inspiration for the drabble. It must be clear in your drabble that you've used one of the pictures.Originally Posted by Ariana
I'm going to try and get the poll up this week. Being a total Arthur Weasley (and bad with Muggle technology) I had an issueOriginally Posted by Aida
. However the poll will be up for at least a week, Aida, so you'll miss the deadline for the weekly.

Erm. This could be just me. But I was checking out the picture prompts, and both links led me to a page on DeviantArt where they saw the most popular artwork.![]()
