Title (+Link): A Tale of Two Matchamkers
    Author: Kerichi
Warnings/Ratings: 6th-7th Years, Character Death, Sexual Situations
    Summary:

Romance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!
Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. Thank you! No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love, but there's always QSQ 2010. ^_~

    * Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *

(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content!)
Reason for Recommendation: The characters in this fic are SO perfect, the in terection between them is superb. This fic is renowned throughout my household as the epic fic that I once read for an entire THREE months. I have just started re-reading it, and it is even better then I remembered. Each chapter (and there are 52 of them!) has humour, romance and storyline written so fantastically that it is the only fanfic I have ever re-read and one of the only chaotered fics I have ever finished. Kerichi take a non-canon relationship and makes it so believable, all the time keeping all the characters in character, that to me it is believable as Canon. Blaise Zabini will forever be a girl in my mind! My favourite FanFic ever, I know everyone else will enjoy it as much as I do, so seriously, give it a read!

    Thank you Nadia/majestic_ginny! <3

    Title (+Link): Seven Thousand Sunsets
    Author: FullofLife
Warnings/Ratings: 3rd-5th Years; Character Death, DH Spoilers, Mental Disorders, Violence
    Summary:
When a fatal disease spreads like wildfire around the Wizarding World, it is up to Rose Weasley to find a cure - with the help of no other than Severus Snape. But working with a man she's fallen in love with is much harder than it sounds.
Reason for Recommendation: Ohmygod. This fic was just....absolutely stunning. You know that cliche, the one involving a Time Turner making intergenerational romance less weird? FullofLife does that....and it's not just a lazy plot device. It works. It makes sense. And there's nothing random about it. And then there's the thing with the disease. First off, kudos to her for the originality of the disease. Second...the emotions in this fic, many triggered by people falling victim to the disease...well, let's put it this way. This is one of the few fics I've ever read that I can honestly say, if I cried for stories, I would cry for this one. It's true this is a depressing fic. If you like depressing fics, read this. If you hate depressing fics with a burning passion, READ THIS. It's awesome.

Title (+Link): There is Another Sky
    Author: Terrayn
Warnings/Ratings: 6th-7th Years/Warnings: DH Spoilers, Epilogue? What Epilogue?, Strong Profanity
    Summary:

Four years, five months and twenty-three days. Ginny feels the weight of every minute with no regrets because each second has dragged her that much closer to Draco Malfoy.

You know that moment when time stands still and you’re suspended above everything, catching all the angles? And somehow you know this here, this now matters?

    Yes.
Reason for Recommendation: It's brilliant. It's so well written and just captivates you immediately from the get-go. The prose is fluid and wonderful, and she manages to keep Draco and Ginny in character throughout. Plus, unlike many DG stories, Harry isn't a brute, and Ginny doesn't cheat!

    Title: Lily's Son
    Author: h_vic
Warnings/Ratings: 6th-7th Years - Mild Profanity, Sexual Situations
Summary: At the start of term feast, Severus Snape watches the first years being Sorted with a little more interest than usual, and a little more regret, as he finds one child’s presence brings back too many memories of a woman he once loved…and betrayed. Even if Severus could forgive Harry Potter for who his father was, forgiving him for who his father was not may be harder.
Reason for Recommendation: This is a fascinating look into the mind of Snape the night before and the night of Harry's Sorting. It explores the complex emotions that run through him during that time, what seeing Lily's eyes on a James Potter clone made him feel, and regret for what might have been.
