I checked out the FAQ on the forums and it gives me code to use to put an image on my author page on the main site: <img src="link to your image">

That didn't work, so I checked out the FAQ on the archives regardinging images on the author page, and it says "Unfortunately, you are not allowed to include images anywhere on the site. This includes summaries, stories, author notes, and author profiles."

I've seen several author pages on the archives with images linking to their stories, so I guess I want to clarify whether or not images can be put on the author page of the archives, not the forums, and if so, how?

I'm sorry if this has been answered (I just reread this thread and didn't see it, so hopefully it hasn't), but when I try to add a new author to my favorites, it shows up as 'Ben'. Ben is not who I'm favoriting, so I don't know why it's doing that. I've tried several times to favorite the author, but it shows up as Ben every time.

I'm not sure if the problem is me, or just a glitch.

Is there a way to bypass the rating warnings? I'm just curious.
It's just a little annoying when I'm reading a chaptered fic and I hit 'Next' and it sends me to the warning that the fic is rated professors and when I click 'Continue' it sends me back to the chapter selection page. I understand that that's there for the John and Jane Doe's who are visiting the site and my be too young, but if I'm logged in and my profile says I'm over 17, is there a way to not have the warning appear?
I realise that this may not be possible, but I'm just curious if there is a way.

Ayra - Sorry but the warning can't be removed for individual members. That would be a lot of work for our overworked Roxy Black . . . Just do what I do and keep one finger on the 'enter' key so it goes by quickly.

Hi,

My story is basically about Hermione getting pregnant and, as she is having affairs with both Harry and Ron, she is unsure whom the father is. Does this break the canon compliant rule?

I am asking because my fic has been deleted from the queue without so much as a rejection letter twice! I have a very good beta and I know it is good enough technically. It is long enough; I only put it into one category and used all the right warnings.
Really, really disappointed as I have been writing this fic for 2 years and finally got round to submitting it.

Mary-ann3112, if you were rejected twice already without receiving a rejection letter, your email is not letting our letters through. Maybe check the spam filter of your email account. Try to change your email to another one. Some email hosts are allergic to MNFF emails. If nothing helps, let us know so that we know you're a member we should PM the letters.

I am confused with the Classes forum. Can anyone do the assignments? Do you have to start at a certain time? How does it work exactly?

Mary-ann3112: You need to be a member of the student usergroup to take the classes. You can join by clicking on:

- User CP
- Group Memberships
- School Students

Once approved, you may begin taking the classes but you need to wait until the next term begins as this one is almost over!

I have recently joined the Beta Boards. I tried to submit to the Sorting Hat for my quiz, but have not seen a response yet. Entierly possible I did somethin wrong, this is new for me.

Is there a way to check?
