You said the town you live in is called Adolf Hitler Platz. Was it called something else before Hitler came to power, or is it just a really young village?

Has anyone from your school ever attended a Napola school, or are you the 'first'?

Are Durmstrang or German students (I don't know if the laws go by school or by country) allowed to use m,agic when they aren't in school. I know that in England, you get a two strike rule before you are expelled, and that in the United States, you have to pass certain levels of this test called the W.A.N.D.s that let you use different levels of magic depending on what level you pass at?

Have you ever been to the circus?

Do you know what sort of tests they have at Durmstrang to get into the higher level classes? What are they called? Mr. Potter says in England, you take the O.W.L.s in your fifth year to get into N.E.W.T. level classes and then take the N.E.W.T. exams?

What do the German and Russian secondary testing systems look like?

Does Germany have Aurors and Hit Wizards and the like? Or does Germany have a different sort of wizarding police force?

Does the German wizarding world have any sort of youth league like the National Socialists do? Maybe you should write to Grindelwald and suggest the idea. Seems like the kind of thing he'd be very interested in.

Platz means "plaza". Adolf Hitler Platz is the name of the central square in my home town, not the town itself (that would be Gemüsestadt). I believe the square used to be named after the some Medieval nobleman of some sort, but I can't remember his name.

No, nobody from any school in my town has ever been to a Napola. If my cover story was indeed fact, I would be the first, but that is not the case.

Over the summer, students are allowed to practice school-approved magic as long as they have adult supervision.

At Durmstrang, students take ZAG's in their fourth year and UTZ's in the seventh.

Still haven't decided what Durmstrang examinations would be like yet.

There is one organisation I am aware of - the ZVK (Zauberische Verteidigungsmannschaft des Kanzlers), or "Wizarding Defence Crew of the Chancellor". From the sound of it, they're Chancellor Grindelwald's bodyguards and the best of the best. There may be more police or military-like organisations, but the ZVK seem to get the most attention.

Does the German wizarding world have any sort of youth league like the National Socialists do? Maybe you should write to Grindelwald and suggest the idea. Seems like the kind of thing he'd be very interested in.

Yes, that is a good suggestion.

Grindelwald sometimes speaks of impending conflict with other nations in the future, so there has to be some wizards out there who don't like us. Probably the Russians. It has to be the Russians.

Do you know where German-speaking Muggle-borns would be sent to school before they were allowed to attend Durmstrang?

I think there was a school somewhere in the west of Germany, but it's closed now. All German wizards and witches are required to attend Durmstrang now.

Why do you insist on calling it a village? We have around four thousand inhabitants, but we were once big enough to merit a stone wall in the Middle ages - it has since been torn down, but a gatehouse remains.

About where in Germany is your village?

We live in Thüringen, in central Germany. Look at a map.

Where is it that Ernst and Konrad are from exactly?

Ernst comes from Nuremburg, but I have no idea where Konrad is from. Wizards seem to be bad a geography, since he can only describe his home's locations by landmarks. I guess this is because wizards can just magic themselves instantly to wherever they want, eliminating the need for good maps.

What do Konrad's parents do for a living?

I believe his father works for a newspaper (probably Wahrheit), but I don't know if his mother works. She shouldn't, being a woman.

What's is Ernst's story for where he is? He is not a very devoted Nazi, so a Napola school wouldn't be very convincing.

You're right, he isn't. Ernst knows the ideology and the slogans, but he doesn't do anything about them. And I really don't know his cover story back home for being at Durmstrang.

I'm horrible with names, and I am in no mood to rattle off a list of classmates.

In terms of fraction, how much of your class is Aryan, and how much is Slavic?

About two-thirds of the class is Aryan, and the other third is everything else.

I believe there are fifteen of them, and I can name two or three of them.

Yes, I have boxed in the Deutsches Jungvolk, and I also wrestled. I was pretty good against my peers, but the older boys outweighed me and had better reach. Those matches did not go well.

We never competed in pits, though. You're exaggerating there.

My friends aren't the writing types, so I've only received two letters total. They didn't mention much about the war or HJ activities, so they must assume I already know, since I supposedly attend a Napola. But I do believe our Deutsches Jungvolk unit is now busy organising used paper and scrap metal drives, now that the war is on.

Do you know where students from Austria would go for school? They speak German as well, and since they are now technically 'part of' Germany, are Muggle-borns from there considered German too? Or is there a different school in Austria that is still open?

Of course Austrian Germans are considered Germans. They speak German and act like Germans, so they are Germans. Austria is merely a region of Germany that was its own independent state for a long time, that's all.

And to answer your question, Austrian wizards go to Durmstrang.

If you bothered to look at a map, you'll notice that Austria is already part of the Zaubererreich. I don't know when it was annexed (or whether it was always a part of a greater wizarding Germany), but it's there.

Chapter Fourteen is in the works, and is at the 5000 word mark. It is a very action-oriented chapter, so I am quite pleased. I've been waiting to get some good fight scenes.

In Germany, a comma is used as a decimal separator, while a full stop is a thousands separator. For example, the number 2,748.56 in most of the English speaking world would look like 2.748,56 in Germany.

Anyway, to answer your questions,

How do you feel about the Japanese?

I don't give the Japanese much thought. All I know about them is what I've learned in school: that they're essentially the Aryans of the East. They've kept themselves racially pure, and that is the source of their strength.

Since the Japanese beat the Russians in the Russo-Japanese War, does this make Asians more powerful than Slavs?

Slavs are already Untermenschen, so Japanese victory was pretty much guaranteed.

Also, you cannot lump the Japanese in with all "Asians" – Asia is a pretty big place. Iranians and Indians (for the most part) are Aryans, and the Japanese are like Aryans but not actually Aryan. The other Asian races are all inbred mongrels.

How do you feel about Italians?

I've only met one Italian at Durmstrang, and he seems to be a nice enough fellow. But I actually feel a little sorry for the Italians. They've fallen a long way from the glory that was Rome.

Does it make them even less than other Latins, that they lost to the Ethiopians?

When did the Italians lose to the Ethiopians? Knowing the Italians, they're bound to mess things up anyway, so that wouldn't be entirely surprising.
