How much time passed between the formation of Dumbledore's Army and the day Umbrige decided to ban The Quibber? Exactly in what month do you think it was that The Quibber was banned at Hogwarts?

October 5th was the meeting in which the students signed up for Dumbledore's Army
October 7th was the Decree disbanding all student organizations
October 9th was the first meeting of Dumbledore's Army
February 14th was the day Harry did the interview with Rita Skitter
February 23rd is the day the March issue of the Quibbler was released and Educational Decree 27 made having it an expulsion offense.
A day by day calender can be found on Lexicon. This is available for each book.
Hope this helps.
Edit by Terri: Sorry about that, it was a typo. I was thinking the March issue and typed March instead of February. Thanks Minnabird.

Correction of Terri's timeline: I checked the date of the Quibbler/ED #27 to make sure it really was on my birthday, and turns out it's not on March 23rd that the magazine comes out--the March issue comes out on February 23rd.
March the 23rd or February. Either way, my story only will probably span over a few weeks time. Thank you so much.
But while I'm asking questions about timeslines, when does the Hogwarts school-year end?

Exams first week of June, results second week, and the students leave in the third week of June. (Information from HP Lexicon. I swear, the most useful site...)
