Why This Fiction Should be Chosen: This story is amazing. It captures the essence of Weasley and the demands of Pure-blood fanatics and blends them into an environment perfectly. Cedrella doesn't change her personality because she befriends a Weasley, but merely grows. This story is well written that it fits into the Harry Potter world seamlessly and can almost be mistaken as the Canon way these to characters came together. It has beautifully kept true to the Blacks and the Weasleys and is a pleasure to read.

Why This Fiction Should be Chosen: I adored this fic, the characterisation is fabulous and the plot is superb. It is the first post Hogwarts fic that I read and I fell completely in love. I would also like to recommend the three sequels: Potter's Pentagon: The Truth (13 chapters), Potter's Pentagon: The Past (28 chapters) and Pride and Pre-Juiced Plums: A Potter's Pentagon Love Story (17 chapters).

Especially Dean, for some reason, probably Carole's fault. Also a fan of angst after the war. So, basically, I love this fic. xD

Why This Fiction Should be Chosen: I have so much love for this fic lol. It's really atmospheric, a little bit confusing (in a way that I enjoy), and quite different, as it's structured interestingly (it's framed as being letters and excerpts from diaries) and from the POV of several Muggles touched by the wizarding world. All of these things endear it to me. It's just so...interesting.

Reason for nomination: This character study is so well done, and I really connected with Merope. In fact, you could say this story is what really pushed me to start writing, because I fell in love with the characterizations and became inspired to do my own studies. I believe I have five stories all solely inspired by this fiction.
If the rating throws up red flags, I have to say that it isn't really bad. That is up to your discretion, though.
Anyways, this would be a great opportunity to be able to translate the distraught emotions into voice an be able to listen to it in a heart-wrenching manner. *chuckles*
But seriously, this story is a great "go to" when I feel stuck with my writing or when I just want to sink into a short romance riddled with angst.

Why This Fiction Should be Chosen: This fic is one of the many in the QSQs last year that genuinely stunned me. It's compelling, it's intensely emotional, and it's very, very different from the usual sort of thing you find on MNFF. This is definitely on my list of favorite fics ever.

Why This Fiction Should be Chosen: Sometimes it's really refreshing to have a love story that isn't all turmoil and angst and all the tension attendant with getting fictional characters together for the first time. Sometimes it's nice to have something relatively quiet with an established relationship, a snapshot of the daily lives of a pairing (albeit one arguing at the beginning). The nice thing about this is that it actually converted me to shipping Scorpius/Hugo, while being exactly that kind of story. It explores, a bit, the ways they fit together and also rub each other the wrong way.
