Hello- I know you said you weren't available for chaptered fics but I've just written two one-shots, and was wondering whether you could look at them. They are not related, but both of them refer to longer fics I've written- though it shouldn't matter if you haven't read them- I think they work in their own right, but I'd like to make sure.

Reason you want a beta reader: Commas. General grammar help/ I've had problems with dependent clauses (it's in the first person and she does ramble a bit). Characterisation, given you've never met these characters before. Anything you think's wrong with it, then say- be as harsh as you want.

Summary:

Lucy Carter (an OC whose Draco's Squib sister, abandoned by the Malfoys and raised a Muggle until being reunited with them after the war) gets over Lee Jordan, sort of falls in love, becomes ill, and then, to everyone’s surprise, not least her own, gets married.

Summary: Don't really have one yet, but it's basically the story of Florence Delaine and her unhappy marriage to Edgar Parkinson. Doesn't really have a plot.
