I shall commence the spamming of teh shiny new babble thread by saying I ADORE Spanish. It is seriously one of the most romantic sounding languages on the planet, and I have three songs on my phone in Spanish. (Only one is completely Spanish -- Ala Nanita by the Cheetah Girls :D -- but the others have got Spanish parts in them.)

Yay, newbies! Welcome Alex and Lily! It's great to see some new faces around here.

Oh, I'm overwhelmed by the shininess of it all!

And all the talk of tea is making me happy. If we are putting the SPEW kettle on, then it has to be Lady Grey or chamomile for me. You know, tea has actually always been an important part of SPEW. I can think of several SPEW queens past who would approve muchly. Another Lady Grey lover! Yet another reason why you are my soulmate.

Aww, it's okay :) The story was aah-mazing, just like all your other works.

There are only three types of tea I will drink: PG tips, reluctantly I might have Tetley (not a patch on PG Tips though) and Bangladeshi tea, which is simply marvellous and doesn't even require sugar because they use goat milk which is really sweet. And they use tea leaves which is quite cool :)

Welcome back Meg! You have a gorgeous banner :) Though I think fezes are cooler than stetsons :)

And tea-well, PG Tips is the best. If you ever find yourself in Ireland Barry's is good, but PG Tips is so much nicer :) I do however LOVE chai and sometimes chamomile/ more exotic teas but mostly its just PG for me. I do think sugar in tea is rather horrible though but that's just me :/

I'm in the middle of essay-ing. I'm supposed to have at least 500 words of an essay written by tomorrow morning and am stumped. I also have reading to do for tomorrow including the last 100 pages of Ivanhoe and some short stories. And I'm being distracted by my OF :/

As an American I feel obliged to disagree! (Even though fezes are actually cooler...)

On the tea discussion, I like either Lipton or various herb teas. As a general rule though, I prefer coffee.

It's lovely to be back, and even more lovely that RL has calmed down.
