Hi, I just found out something very strange has happened to one of my stories. All but two paragraphs of it have disappeared. It is down to only 155 words. It happened before 8:40pm on 8/21/06 so I don’t know if it could possibly have been affected by the Hacker, but I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Perhaps it occurred after the big change in the site?

I missed summer school- will there be somethign like agin come septemer - if so can i preepativly sing up for History?
Help I am beyond mere advice!
(Edit #1: Yay! I have edited away my first question, because it has been answered. But I'll leave my explanation of the acronym HTML here for further pondering (or is that ponderance?).)
H: Hopeless
T: Time-consuming
M: Monsterous
L: Lumbering
:D
help please or I shall go html crazy, and somebody will need to fish me out of the tank, with the letters all scrambled around lmht, mtlh, tlhm...
(Edit #2: But this question here, about line breaks, is still a mystery to me. There must be a solution somewhere.)
And hey! while I'm asking, is there any way to get rid of all those extra line breaks in my stories? Every time anybody goes in to edit a chapter, the program or whatever gives it extra line breaks that nobody needs or wants. I didn't realize this was what caused it until somebody told me. Now I have chapters with huge ugly line breaks, and if I go in and remove them, I'll be editing and I suppose I'll get more unwanted line breaks. Advice?
(Maybe this is what happens when I get my paws on a keyboard? Hmmm...)
Is there a Historical fic usergroup?
If so do you need qufactaions to join?
Is this rule ... er, bendable sometimes? I just wanted to know, because a Professors-rated fic has been featured this week.Quote:

Spotted Cat: I see your banner in your signature twice. Do you have graphics turned on in your user CP? You have to specifically turn them on. They aren't default. If you have any more trouble, please feel free to PM me.
Zara Ravenwood: There is no Historical fic usergroup, though there is a Historical category on the site.
Dumbledore Prince: I'll look into that; thanks for noting the inconsistency.
You'll need to ask Vindictus Viridian about Summer School since she organized that wonderful activity. They're talking about a Summer School program lasting all year or something around those lines.Quote:

Only what you will do is replace the < > with [ ].
There is no Historical fic usergroup. All the usergroups available for you to join has been listed already in your User CP.Quote:

I wasn't aware of that rule, and obviously some others weren't either.Quote:

We'd like for all the Poetry to go in one category regardless what other category they may be able to go under. That's because some mods (like myself) just don't understand poetry and aren't the best judges for if the poem is acceptable. The mod for Poetry is excellent and can tell and mod to the best of their ability.
Hello, :)
I know that the queue has been a little frantic ever since the hacker you know, hacked into the system. I was just wondering what happened to my story, 'No Time for Suspicion'. I submitted it into the R/Hr and H/G category, and the chapter title was 'Prologue'. It was submitted into queue on August 15. The wait doesn't really bother me, but I recently emailed one of the mods for that category and received no response. Thanks in advance! :D
