Quidditch, Anyone?

Attention, please -

Now that we have the staff sorted out, we will be doing something a tad bit differently this term.

In the past, as each match ended, the current captain chose their successor. It's a process which has been effective and we plan on implementing it again.

This time, however, we will be choosing the captains a bit differently. Most people who play the game here on the boards have stayed within a modest sized group. We have seen many play the matches over and over again and *most* who have been captain have done so.

This time around we will be holding try-outs for the position of captain. Here is the kicker . . .

The slates have been wiped clean.

If you have been captain once, it's perfectly fine for you to try out again. Maybe you shone brightest as captain and would like to do it again. Perhaps your experience was not so great and you'd like to try one more time to get a better experience out of it. Regardless, this is your opportunity!

I will be posting this exact thread out in the Pitch. In that thread, please post a drabble of one hundred words or less portraying a person in the position to prove to his/her team that they would be an effective captain. Make sure you include all the basics:
