In order to take the Sorting Quiz, please PM SortingHat with a request, and she will send you a quiz.



Our computer programmers are still hard at work coding the sorting quiz to interface with the new forum software. We do not yet have an estimated date for the return of the automated sorting quiz. However, we have two temporary solutions available for you:

:) If you were sorted into a house before March 2006, you may send a PM to your Head of House or Prefect, and they will return you to your former house.

Ravenclaw: TyrannoLaurus, mugglemathdork
Gryffindor: eponine, solemnlyswear_x
Slytherin: NikkiSue, babekitty_92
Hufflepuff: Roxy Black, mudbloodproud

:) If you have been placed in a house usergroup, but can no longer read the announcements forum without logging out, please PM your Head of House or Prefect and ask them click the Registered Users box. They'll know what that means.

Are we allowed to be re-sorted at all?

its just that my friend went in my emails and did the quiz thing for me.

I would say no. If another mod wants to contradict me, that is ok. This is why you should not share your password with anyone. Sorry.

No. Re-Sorting is not allowed. Once you have been Sorted, you are in your House.

What is sorting and how do I get sorted?
If you were sorted on the boards before May 2006 and would like to return to your former house, please send a PM to your Head of House.

Gryffindor: eponine, HOH; solemnlyswear_x, Prefect
Slytherin: NikkiSue, HOH; babekitty_92, Prefect

If you have not yet been sorted and would like to be, you may send a PM to SortingHat requesting a manual sorting test.

How long will it take for me to get my sorting results back?
It make take a few days. It may take a few weeks. Please be patient. Since the quiz is manually scored and since we have so many people on the forums, it will take quite a bit of time.

Also, please note that if your inbox is full, neither the test nor the result can be sent to you. Unsorted members only are allotted five messages (including sent and received) so please plan accordingly.
