I'm sure that anyone who's been on a few HP forums knows the general jist of a Triwizard Tournament (I've set up a few myself) and that the idea isn't too new. I also know that this forum has quite a few places set up for challenges and anything of that nature, and that a few TTs are similar to the way things are 'round here, except they're not organized into one big challenge.

What I'm trying to get at here, is that we should host our very out TT. The elements of it are quite similar to the way things are around here, and it would be fun to see all of the members unite for one game.

This (http://www.hpforums.net/showthread.php/triwizard-tournament-writing-6507.html?t=6507)is a link to another forum, where I laid out the challenges and such. I don't want to get into all the gritty details and make this post too long. (Once you get to the third challenge, skip down to my ending note - credit was given where credit was due :) )

As you can see, the Quadruplewizard Tournament is not about silly games, it is meant to be an extensive writing challenge, testing abilities and all that.

Just thought I'd throw that out there :)

I think that that's a good idea. I've participated in thos before, and they were loads of fun.
I'm for it.

I love this idea and would be very interested in participating, if it was offered to me.

I like this idea a lot, as long as we have more than four people competing :D .

This would be a great way for people to hone their writing skills and would be a lot of fun!

This Tri-Wizard Tournament sounds kind of nifty to me. I wouldn't mind trying it out at all with revisions, of course. If we do use this, to whom should we credit the idea (Arianna, you get props for directing us to that post ;))?

Err... Well, I was at Potter's Army when I heard the idea, but the person who posted it there credited another site, and that probably goes on for ages.

The guidelines that I linked were done by me, but it's definitely not the only way it's been been done. In fact, I think I thought of making it a writing challenge all on my own, but I daren't say that as fact. There are millions of us... *cue the dundundun's*

Anywhoo, I guess y'all could credit HP fansites as a whole, considering it would take a long time to find the person who thunked it up in the first place.

The links were gon but this sounds similar to our Gauntlet challanges.

Well, actually, this doesn't seem like the Gauntlet at all.

I think this is really interesting!

I'm kinda confused, but I'm pretty sure I like this idea. :p
It'd be cool if we could give it a shot.

This challenge seems to involve all types of challenges, like reviewing, character development and such, so I feel it would help each person to grow up and mature as an author. It'd be cool if we have anything like this over here, and I am sure that there would be many who'd be willing to participate in such a challenging contest.
