Primary Co-author can't respond to reviews

To the extent of your knowledge, did this error occur before the upgrade? We didn't have co-authorship before, so no.
What section(s) are you getting the error: responding to reviews
Does the error go away when you switch skins? No.
Error message copy-pasted word-for-word: "You are not authorized to access that function."

You've already said that only the primary author can respond to reviews, but I was the one who submitted the story (so I am primary author, I think...) and I am unable to respond. The [Respond] link shows up under the reviews as usual, but when I click it, it says "You are not authorized to access this function."

If I misunderstood what determines the "primary author", I'm sorry to take up your time. :o
