How far reaching was Voldemort's war in the 70s? I know that it affected the UK and that he brought in giants for Europe and that his ultimate plan probably included world domination, but which parts of Europe would have been hit by his Death Eaters?

As far as I know they really don't tell you where Europe was hit. I don't think they really said anything about it. So as far as this goes I think that you can take it anywhere you want.
