Marked As Favourite Story Missing Numbers - SOLVED

I dont get an error message since this isn't that type of glitch and since there doesn't seem to be another appropriate place to post this I figure this would be the best thread to do so.

The amount of readers who have my story listed as a favourtie has dropped by about 450 readers. I am worried about those who are missing knowing about when I update my story.

I doubt there is little yo ucan do about this now but I just thought that I would bring this to your attention incase it happens to other fiction writers and not just me.

Favorites are not working right now; I'm working very hard to restore them, but they will be down for a very long because...there are a LOT of favorites.

my storyid is 54450.

It's sort of fluctuating. My favorites count was at five-hundred-something before the update, then it was at zero, and now it's at nineteen. Same for anyone who favorite-d me as an author. It was at 90 about twenty minutes ago, and now it's at zero.

I'm having all the same problems as Schmergo, except I only was favorite author of 11 people. Also, I have no favorite authors, and only one favorite story. Should I re-favorite them?

I'm having the same problem. All the people that favouritised me and my stories have dissapeared.:(

My story has also lost around half of those who favorited it. I suppose it is possible that they were inactive, since the story has been up for so long, but just in case...

Favorite stories (and favorite stories only) have been recovered. I've made a lot of human error so if a story of yours is missing a SIGNIFICANT NUMBER of people who favorited it, post here with your storyid and how many people should've favorited you (estimate, of course).

Also, if you're missing a SIGNIFICANT NUMBER of stories you favorited, post your userid there with an estimate of how many stories you should've favorited (estimate, of course).

ETA: Favorite authors have been recovered. Again, post here if there are any major discrepancies.

On March 4th, I copied the top ten favorite authors list in case there was an apocalypse, :o.

I don't see a huge difference at all, so I'm not going to go through all those numbers and find out which ones are missing.

But again, yes, the favorites have been restored.

"Hogwarts Houses Divided," SID 76288. Was listed by ~63 as a favorite, now none.

Also, the story word count only lists the word count for the first chapter, while I have four chapters posted so far. Is that supposed to be the case?

Inverarity, there was only a difference of 5 people. I added them in, but note that I specifically said there had to be a SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE.

The amount of people who have favorite-d my story is still less than it was before the update, but it should be fixed, yes? My story was created in July '06, so could it be from the user purge?

There's about 100 fewer now, maybe more. And my story id is 54450, in case you need it again.

Hey hard-woking mod! Since you asked for only signifixant numbers, I'll give you only one of my stories.

Estimated number: I used to have around 250-300ish people favorited to this story. I don't remember the exact number, but it was around there. Now, however, there are only 149. So I guess around 100-150 people missing.

I can't see who favorited my stories anymore. I've tried different skins so I'm wondering if this a glitch only I'm experiencing or if anyone else had had this problem.

I'm particularly concerned for my WIP [story id: 60226]

Where is everyone else finding their statistics?

You can find your statistics by going to your "View Your Statistics". To view the statistics of your stories, click on the link that says how many stories you have. Once you click that link, you'll come to a table of your stories, the number of reviews on each, the number of people who favorited each story, and the number of times the story was read. When you click on the number of people who have favorited each story, you'll see the names of the people who favorited that particular story.
