Hermione's Point of View. Based on events in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

EDIT: This story, which was written almost a year ago, is undergoing a sort of Spring Cleaning. In other words, I am revising and resubmitting the chapters to take care of the things that now make me cringe. Rereads and new Reviews are welcome!

The Colour Red by rather_be_athogwarts

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • 9 Reviews
Summary: It was Christmas time at Hogwarts once again, and the Gryffindor common room looked particularly festive. There was a huge Christmas tree in the corner, the tinsel glittering in the glow of the fire place. Red and gold garlands were hung around the room, as well as several sprigs of mistletoe. Reddest of all though, was Hermione’s face.

“Ron, just shut up!” Hermione yelled, jumping to her feet. “You just don’t understand at all!”

Hermione ran into the dormitory, slamming the door behind her and leaving Ron spluttering in her wake.

A short, fluffy and emotion filled fic set in Ron and Hermione's sixth year at Hogwarts. AU warning is because Ron and Lavender were already together at Christmas in book 6.

He was a man that everyone had been sad to see leave.

What was this man up to before coming to teach at Hogwarts? How had he become such a good teacher? Why was he looking ill at health all the time? Had he been all alone in life since that fateful night on 1981?
