Summary: A ballad written for Severus Snape's birthday.
Summary: During their third year at Hogwarts, Harry and his friends came to know Remus Lupin as a sickly, poor man; a wonderful Defense Against the Dark Arts professor with a sense of humour; a former friend of James Potter; a werewolf, and a redeemed friend of the infamous Sirius Black.
He was a man that everyone had been sad to see leave.
What was this man up to before coming to teach at Hogwarts? How had he become such a good teacher? Why was he looking ill at health all the time? Had he been all alone in life since that fateful night on 1981?
This is his story, beginning six months prior to his coming to Hogwarts, and following him as he strains to make ends meet.
Summary: Three years after the Battle, the Weasley family is once again shattered by grief.
A songfic, based on Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton.
This is The Silver Doe from Deathly Hallows, but I felt it should be told from Snape's point of view... let me take you to the wintry Forest of Dean, when a mysterious silver doe leads Harry to the Sword of Gryffindor, and one leads Ron to Harry...
Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters, J. K. Rowling does, and she gets all the money. I just have fun with it.
Summary: One above, two below. We know the boy's story, what about the girl's? One-Shot about Hermione's torture by Bellatrix.
Summary: It was the last time for them, though he was yet to know.Disclaimer:I am not J.K.Rowling; the characters and their world belong to her, though. AU because these characters never kissed in canon. If you’ve seen the Deathly Hallows 1 movie, you might be able to understand what’s going on. ;)
Summary: On Halloween evening, ten-year-old Teddy Lupin discovers that Muggles know more about the Wizarding folk than he would have suspected. The answers to his questions, however, will come from a very unlikely source.
Won second place in Halloween Drabble Challenge at the beta forums; expanded into a one-shot.
Summary: Oliver Wood was living on another planet from the way he'd planned his life after Hogwarts to turn out, virtually homeless and definitely penniless, but when he finds himself pulling pints at The Three Broomsticks on Christmas Day, a visitor comes and reminds him of how much different things could have been.
Summary: The Yule Ball of 1994 is a hugely exciting time for all the teenage witches at Hogwarts, but for the Muggle Studies teacher, Charity Burbage, it looks to be a depressing time. With the only available wizard the sour Severus Snape, she has no chance of finding a partner. And when Septima Vector informs her that The Weird Sisters are booked to play, Charity's mind becomes a blur. It had been six years since she last saw Myron. And in those six years, he's become a star.
Will Myron Wagtail remember Charity?
And does she want him to?
I am Equinox Chick from Hufflepuff and this is my entry in the Great Hall Christmas Challenge (prompt 2)
If you've read Mere Wisps of Light, then you'll know that Charity Burbage was very reticent about her Yule Ball romance when talking to Draco. This is why. The stories are linked, but it is not essential to read one to understand the other.
Disclaimer: All the characters mentioned in this fic are the creation of JK Rowling, with the exception of Gerard Bonbon who is my own creation.
The song, Teenage Witch, isn't real, but I'm guessing that Simon Cowell would like me to join his songwriting team.
Finally, thank you very much to Natalie (hestiajones) for beta'ing this story. I owe you so much!
Summary: Bella spends a sleepless night because of disturbing dreams. Has she really seen her future?
Summary: After the Dark Lord's victory, Hermione is given a chance to live under one condition- to marry Draco Malfoy and continue the dwindling bloodline. Refusing to succumb to her destiny, Hermione devises a plan to escape and reunite with Ron before the wedding. Will she be able to successfully carry out her plan with the wedding a week away without Draco Malfoy knowing? Or will she unexpectedly fall in love with him?
Summary: They were virtually apart for most of their lives, both in word and in deed. She was headstrong, he was arrogant. She was kind, and he was courageous. But when Lily and James needed each other the most, they were together.
Set during their seventh year at Hogwarts, as Voldemort steadily rose to power before the First War.
Summary: Draco Malfoy pushes Neville Longbottom a step too far. AU.
Summary: Thought to always have been adversaries, this is a tale of Nagini Lestrange and Remus Lupin, in their sixth year at Hogwarts, and how one single event sets the course of their lives to be intertwined with each other. Nagini, the main female character, is actually a precursor to Voldemort's serpent, Nagini.
Summary: The Second Wizarding War is at its peak. What does it look like to an observant seven-year-old Muggle boy?
James Potter has changed: no longer an arrogant, irresponsible prankster, he has matured into a responsible Head Boy with tops marks in Transfiguration. Lily Evans has changed as well: normally studious and in control, she has lost focus as she struggles with Head Girl responsibilities and N.E.W.T level studies. An unexpected encounter in the corridors one weekend leads to several startling realizations, the least of which is that things have definitely changed between James Potter and Lily Evans.
This story was nominated for a 2010 QSQ and is now complete.
