Andromeda Black was never as sweet or quiet as her little sister, nor as clever and bold as her older sister. Andromeda was never anything in particular. She certainly never imagined that she would someday betray her family.
Andromeda is just herself. And for Ted, that's enough.
Character Exploration Fic.
Summary: It is Christmas Eve 1998, and the Magical World is shakily celebrating the first Christmas since Voldemort’s defeat.
For one, though, there is no reason to celebrate. Draco Malfoy sits alone in his room refusing to join his parents as they try to regain their social standing.
He does not want to see another Christmas, but he reckons without a redoubtable figure from his past.
My name is Equinox Chick from Hufflepuff, and this story has been written for prompt four of the Great Hall Christmas Challenge over at the MNFF Beta Boards.
Thank you to Natalie for a quick beta job on this – anything to get her away from Rabelais, I guess.
Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. Her lawyers agree, so please don’t confuse us.
Summary: If you knew that the consequence of doing the right thing might be torture, or even death, would you still do it?
This story was inspired by something Neville said in passing. “…And then Michael Corner went and got caught releasing a first year they’d [the Carrows] chained up, and they tortured him pretty badly…”
This is the untold tale of an unsung hero: Michael Corner.
Summary: Andromeda feels the grief of losing her daughter, but she does not cry. Not yet.
Summary: He realises his brother was right.

This isn't love. This is an absorbing, compelling, compulsive addiction. Your thirst for him is unquenchable and all-consuming, yet his presence only makes you yearn for him more. There is no antidote, no remedy to these feelings. He is your drug. You are the addict. And the high he gives you is incomparable to any narcotic-induced hit.
Summary: Three years after Voldemort won the war, Hermione Granger is a fugitive concealed in the ruins of Hogwarts. For three years, she has sent up signals for the Order, and hoped someone would answer. And at last, someone has - the last person she wants to see... D / Hr
To most lycanthropes, it is a curse. To one, he relishes it and the power it gives him. Who is this one?

**WINNER in the BEST ORIGINAL CHARACTER (Mark Moon) – Quicksilver Quills Awards 2010.**Meet Mark Moon, a bailiff in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement (Scottish Office). Mark has girl problems, or a problem girl, he isn't certain which. The girl is named Lavender.
Summary: When Draco Malfoy fled from Hogwarts on that fateful night at the end of his sixth year, he left behind a piece of his soul in more ways than one. Not only did plotting murder steal his innocence, but it forced him to leave behind the girl he loved, and surely a Gryffindor like Lavender Brown could never understand why he had to do it?
Summary: When Molly Weasley worries, she cooks.
Summary: I suspect Potter always imagined himself dying honourably in battle or saving some poor sod’s soul. He didn’t. And for that I was smugly appreciative.

Summary: The Masque was her chance to get over a broken relationship and move on, her appearance magically charmed for a night of escapist pleasure. She had no expectations, least of all that she might fall for a fellow masked player. And yet she did, their identities a secret as their relationship blossomed. When they take off the masks and reveal their true selves, can they move beyond their past and try to build something for the future?
