Summary: Seventeen-year-old Rose Weasley has always liked romance of the fairytale variety. She thinks she’s found her Prince Charming in Daniel Corner, the handsome Ravenclaw Seeker. But into her life enters Scorpius Malfoy, and it’s unclear whether he’ll be leaving it anytime soon. Suddenly it’s as if Rose is trapped in one of those devastatingly romantic soap operas her mother keeps telling her about… only that she’s not sure if it will have a happy ending… if she will have a happy ending.
Summary: Tom Riddle left Hogwarts in a blaze of glory, valedictorian, Head Boy, and the recipient of many prestigious job offers. However, he took none, opting to work at “Borgin and Burkes,” the rather dubious shop for Dark Wizards.
He then disappeared. Years passed before he reemerged as Lord Voldemort. What did he do in the mean time? Why did he obsess endlessly over a strange place called Götter-Burg? Who was Locust? And who is Albatross and what threat does he pose to the Dark Lord?
Summary: Remus tries to tell Tonks that she's not safe, but she is convinced that he won't transform. Will it be too late for her to run as the moon appears over the horizon.
Summary: “Grindelvald killed many people, my grandfather, for instance.”
- Viktor Krum, Deathly Hallows p. 148
Viktor's grandfather resists the torments of Nurmengard for as long as he can after he sacrifices himself to save his muggleborn wife and their son. Can he escape Grindelwald's prison, or will he find freedom of another kind?
Inspired by "The Song of the Partisans" by Hersh Glik.
Summary: Two girls, both flowers in their own right, drawn together by flowers. Their friendship was impossible, but it happened. This is how.
Warning: This fic can be interpreted as a frienship fic, but it sort of leans toward femmeslash, though obviously there’s nothing graphic at all (see rating). Still, if the concept itself offends, I wouldn’t read this. The slash warning is just in case.
Summary: The curtains call, beckoning a man to his death.
Summary: When a notice about flying lessons goes up in the Gryffindor common room, eleven-year-old Lily Evans is anything but excited. Can't these wizards understand only airplanes are meant to go so high in the air?
Summary: Voldemort is at the height of his power. His terrible reign is fought only by the Order of the Phoenix, and they are outnumbered ten to one. Petunia Evans, 19, is fresh out of Hogwarts and a not-so-useful member of said Order. But when Petunia's memory is modified and members are kidnapped by Death Eaters, it is up to Petunia, her childhood friend Severus and the four Marauders to change the direction of the war and save the person most important to Petunia. Along the way, they will have to face old grudges and old crushes that can be just as harmful as the Death Eaters.
Originally an unfinished entry for a gauntlet way back when, this fic evolved from there.
Note: This fic is AU, based on the question "What if Petunia had been the witch instead of Lily?".
Summary: Severus knows that the temptations he gives in to will change his life forever. Afraid of losing everything important to him, he asks that some things will never fade from his life. Severus/Lily.
Summary: Harry was pretty sure it had been an unfortunate trick of the light, and therefore dismissed it as stress combined with an unhealthy lack of sleep finally taking their toll on his sanity. The start of the new school year was, undoubtedly, a wonderful thing. Getting his three children onto the train with the bare minimum of fuss, outrage and actual bodily harm was quite another.
Summary: As Abrecan Travers walks slowly onward to finish the task that the Dark Lord has set before him, his mind wanders back to what has led him to this uncertain conclusion.
Summary: Ever wondered what happened when Sirius Black ran away from home?
Summary: “Hell -- Oomph! Ouch. Sorry, Sirius decided it’d be fun to trip me.”
“I did not!”
“Oh don’t deny it Sirius, I saw you too. Hello there! You’re here to read, aren’t you? Isn’t that great Remus? Remus?”
“Wha – Oh yes, lovely… So sorry, love, but what are you talking about?”
“You’d think being a werewolf, you could hear twice as good as the normal wizard.”
“Anna! Keep it down!”
“But why, Remus? Everyone’s going to find out once they read Fuzzy Elfin Dilemmas, and then, why would you care?”
“You three are completely ignoring the company. How rude. Don’t mind them, they’ve got the manners of a teaspoon, I tell you.”
The other three sigh as one at Sirius.
“You’ll really like this story. It’s better than my daddy’s, but shhhh, don’t tell him I said that.”
“It’s about a werewolf community, us four and Time-Turners.”
“That hardly says anything at all, you two!”
“We’re sent on a mission of spying on a community I already knew well. Yes, I am a werewolf –“
“Harmless though, I tell you!”
“Those two have a project through the Department of Mysteries –“
“It’s great fun working there.”
“Nat, enough. We’re supposed to figure out how to finish the Time-Turners. Unofficially of course.”
“We’ve got to go…Happy reading!”
This is a story written by Mistletoe (Kat) and myself using our OC's (Natalie Carmen and Anna Boothe), Remus and Sirius. These four are an unlikely group for a mission, but that's indeed what happens. Sent on a whirlwind journey by the Order of the Phoenix and uncomfortable with each other, they're a little lost in the forests of Wales. Where exactly do werewolves and Time-Turners come into the mix? It involves mystery and intrigue, some adventure and fears, a smidgen of flirting and quite a bit of silliness.
Summary: Emmeline Vance believes she has escaped the danger of the war-torn wizarding world, but she soon finds out she is very wrong and that she must give up what she knows and trust the unknown in order to keep herself and the people she loves safe from harm. The Order steps in to help, and Emmeline gets caught up in ways she never expected.
Summary: After a plea from a friend, Remus and Nymphadora Lupin set off to help. Nymphadora finds herself separated from Remus. As she searches her belongings and the area around her, many surprises come about including some unlikely allies.
I'm Cheshlin from Slytherin, and this is my entry for the 5th Gauntlet
Summary: Sirius Black comes back to his flat to look for a forgotten object and witnesses the most traumatic event in his life: Lily Evans' bridal shower! Oh, did I mention that he witnesses it from inside the wardrobe?
Summary: It's the Marauders' Seventh Year, and Remus, Peter, and Sirius are getting tired of James mooning over Lily. Their solution? Write an anonymous love letter, and leave it a classroom!
I'm sorry, but this fic is going on semi-permanent hiatus. I ran out of ideas
