Summary: One morning, Harry Potter wakes up in a different world. His parents are alive, and Neville now bears the scar. Things are different and Harry finds that he’s starting to like that the weight of the world is no longer on his shoulders. Unfortunately, Neville may not be able to bear that weight, and Harry has to make the decision about whether or not to allow an unprepared Neville to face the Dark Lord and complete the Prophecy, or if he should accept the responsibility again and finish what he set out to do.
Summary: He wants to drink it all in, milk it all for what it's worth before it all withers away. And it will.
Very angsty SB/RL.
Summary: Cadmus Peverell was given a rare gift, but its terrible powers have ruined him. The Resurrection Stone that altered this man’s life forever has been passed down through the generations, always accompanied with a grim warning. Now it has changed hands from Marvolo Gaunt to his dejected daughter, Merope, who has no idea of the horrors this tiny object can generate. She can’t resist the temptation to use it, yet the results are unexpected. What will happen when Merope attempts to alter Fate? (Slight AU because the behavior of people brought back to life by the Stone is a bit different than in canon. Also note harsh language in chapter 2.)
Winner of the Summer Challenge: Hallows!
Andromeda Black wants desperately to take control of her life, but she has never been given the motivation to do so... until now.
‘You won’t have to marry him,’ Ted said surely. ‘Not after this, I can’t let it happen. If it comes down to it, I’ll marry you before he gets the chance.’
Note: the non-consensual sex warning is for a minor part and the act is prevented.
Summary: ‘He knew it was a stupid hope, but he wished, and he hoped, and he hoped to stop hoping all the same.’ It makes sense that Harry would dream for the dead to come back. We enter in the summer after his fifth year, where he is torn between continuing to wish or giving up on his senseless dreams.
Summary: It has been thought that dreams hold great value in divining unknown knowledge. Some adhere to the belief that a dream is capable of foretelling events, be they tragic or wonderful. Others believe that a dream is strictly that – a dream. Helga has a dream that shakes her focus and one that could have unforeseen effects on a friendship and on a school. Will the Founders fall, or will Hogwarts truly become the school they have always envisioned?
