James Potter is the latest of a long legacy of Quidditch players and a crowd favourite. Together, they are natural enemies on the Quidditch field. Problem for Raven is, she doesn't quite understand this; not yet.

When James proposes that the pair train and learn from each other, the naive Raven finds herself trapped in the Gryffindor's ultimate sabotage plan. However, the competitive and emotional rivalry between themselves and their houses take the situation to a whole new level, all leading up to that one final match.

Cold Dreams by Equinox Chick

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • 3 Reviews
Summary: Not all marriages are idyllic - not even for a hero. And however much we want someone to have a happy ending, love sometimes has a way of upsetting the equilibrium.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. To my knowledge all her heroes had the happy-ever-afters they deserved.

Commencement by hestiajones

Thanks to Kara and Carole for their help! This story would still be full of holes if it weren't for you two.

Sirius/OC

This is for Carole/EquinoxChick, and much less than she deserves. You are an incredible, magnificent person, and I still completely fangirl you. If I ever get close to what you are/have now, just talent-wise and with all the ideas you always have, I'd be happy. I really admire you and what you do a lot, so don't ever change.

Muchas muchas Gracias to Nat/hestiajones for helping me out, event though she should have been in bed.

Carousel by hestiajones

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 6 Reviews
Summary: Sometimes, she liked mulling over the possibilities of a change, but would she ever act upon it?

Inspired by Round 4 Brawl: Week 2. Thanks to Kara/Karaley Dargen for a real-time AIM beta job and for all the courage she gives me.

DISCLAIMER: This is NOT J.K.Rowling.

Case 482 by Moody

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 7 Reviews

Chosen by edant

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • 4 Reviews
Summary: After learning that Harry isn't The Chosen One, Hermione is given the task of making sure the person who is, makes the right choices. It is going to take all her persuasive skills and patience though because the real Chosen One is Draco Malfoy!

Close Your Eyes by Equinox Chick

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 15 Reviews
Summary: Hermione and Lavender weren't particular friends. It was true they shared a dormitory, but for much of their school time they lived parallel and separate lives. Then Lavender helped Hermione get ready for the Yule Ball and that set off a chain of events that left both girls confused.

This story was inspired by a suggestion from Gina (Gmariam) and a drabble written for Natalie (hestiajones). This story is in no way 'caron -compliant' with Lavender, blue - a Gryffindor true.

Thank you Natalie for beta'ing this story.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling, her lawyers agree, so don't confuse us. Lawyers for Miss Brown and Miss Granger were unavailable for comment.

Christmas Gifts by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 10 Reviews
Summary:

The gift was the exact size of a ring box from a jewellery shop. One glance at it had been enough to send a chill down Lily's spine and almost enough to make her say, "You shouldn't have." She loved James, she just wasn't ready to get married.

I am ron lover of Gryffindor and this is my final for the Missing Moments class on the MNFF Beta Boards.

Comfort and Joy by Luna_Lover

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • 13 Reviews
Summary: It's Christmas Eve, 1998, and Harry Potter is throwing a pity party. You could argue that Harry Potter is more justified than most in throwing such a party. Severus Snape, however, would be inclined to disagree with you.
I am LilyLunaPotter of Hufflepuff submitting to Prompt Four of the 2010 Great Hall Christmas Challenge.
