The Ministry of Magic was trying to keep the magical community from panic, but the Dark Lord’s rise to power was continuing unchecked.

This story does not begin on September first, but on December twentieth, of Lily and James’ sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A lot of things change as Lily goes from preferring to date the giant squid, to dating the one and only James Potter.
