"The Other Woman" by whichone

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 1 Reviews
Summary: Remus knew that his father loved his mother, but he never knew about the other woman Lyall cared for when, as a widower, he'd grown used to the single life.

Written for the NOTP challenge.

This piece has been edited by Paige (Kerichi). I drew two cards out of the deck and ran with this idea. She made the magic happen.

"The Broken Window" by whichone

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 0 Reviews
Summary: Remus Lupin learns a hidden secret and a life lesson. Everything comes with time.

For my sister, Julia, who stuck these words of JKR in a piece of art: "Don't let the Muggles get you down."

"Christmas on the Dai Llwellyn Ward" by whichone

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 2 Reviews
Summary: Hippocrates spends Christmastime on the Dai Llwellyn ward.

This piece is dedicated to Paige (Kerichi) who gave me this idea after I got inspired by Merry Poppins. This has nothing to do with either Merry to Mary Poppins.

And Dad, who is nice enough to pack a lot of logic and insight into a few lines. Thanks, guys.

"A Snake in the Garden" by whichone

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 1 Reviews
Summary: Hippocrates Smethwyck works through the Christmas shift on the Dai Llewellyn Ward. It's a holiday he'll never forget.

For Paige (Kerichi) who made me think of Merry Poppins and this entered my head. By the way, this has nothing to do with either Merry or Mary Poppins.

DAUGHTER OF MINISTER FOR MAGIC FOUND DEAD

Lucy Weasley, eldest daughter of Minister for Magic Percy Weasley, was found dead in her room early yesterday morning. Forensics has revealed that the death occurred due to poisoning, though the nature of the poison is yet to be confirmed.

Harry Potter has a difficult job at hand. Well, being an Auror has never been simple, but when the victim is a part of the family, things are bound to become far worse. Relations are put to the test, and old secrets resurface. And sometimes, it may just get too personal…

This was my entry for the Great Hall Chaptered Challenge of 2012, but since that's over and long gone, I'll just get on with finishing the story.

"The Family Man" by whichone

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 5 Reviews
Summary: Benji Fenwick was a simple lawyer, husband to Amelia Bones, father of two . . . and secret member of the Order of the Phoenix.

*This is a two-chaptered story written from two alternating points of view.

The Gentleman Caller by whichone

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • 3 Reviews
Summary: Elphinstone Urquart asked the same question, and he got used to getting the same answer.

Minerva McGonagall got asked the same old question, and she indeed gave the same answer until she decided it was time for a change.

This piece was edited, torn apart, and pieced back together by the beautiful Paige. She's a good friend to have by your side. I thankee.

This one's for Judy.

Ginny Weasley and the Very Secret Diary by RJ Hunt

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • 6 Reviews
Summary:
Throughout the original Harry Potter Series, Ginny Weasley is on the fringe of the trio. She only learns about everything they have truly had to endure during the final three books, yet is still not entirely part of their inner world until the very end.

See her origin story beginning with her first year at Hogwarts. Find out what happened on the train after one of her brothers and Harry Potter missed it. What did Mr. Olivander tell her about her wand? What did the Sorting Hat whisper into her ear? Who did she befriend in her year? Most importantly, what exactly did Tom Riddle write to her that allowed her to become possessed and to release the basilisk?

This is created to be read in tandem with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Before Harry Potter ever comes for his first summer stay at the Burrow, Ginny already leads a full life. His dropping in one bright morning is not proof of a besotted girl, but rather the beginning of Ginny's ability to see the world from different perspectives.
